Top SchoolKais Baccour is a PhD student and experienced computer scientist based in Bordeaux with eight years of hands-on experience applying AI to dynamic network problems. His research and industry work combine Graph Neural Networks and Deep Reinforcement Learning to optimize vehicular, IoT, and wireless sensor networks for latency, energy and resilience under changing topologies. He has practical deployment experience from internships and industry roles—building GNN-based prioritization for Orange Tunisie and supporting Palantir Foundry users at FORVIA—bridging research models and production constraints. Kais also teaches advanced data structures and TCP/IP architecture, signaling an ability to explain complex systems to diverse audiences. He brings a hybrid profile that blends rigorous academic methods with pragmatic engineering, often focusing on long-term adaptive strategies rather than short-term fixes. Outside core research, he has delivered applied AI solutions like a ChatGPT-powered network assistant, highlighting a knack for user-facing tooling as well as foundational models.
