Senior🎓
Top SchoolKajetan Staszkiewicz is a seasoned network and systems engineer with 12+ years of hands-on experience building resilient datacenter and office networks, now contributing as a FreeBSD committer. He blends low-level kernel and firewall work in C/C++ and FreeBSD's pf with high-level automation in Python and Puppet, and has built traffic load-balancing and DDoS protection tools used in production. His background spans dynamic routing (BGP, BIRD), VRF, nftables/iptables, QoS, and custom virtualization (KVM/libvirt/DRBD), plus practical experience with a wide range of network hardware. At InnoGames he led design of multi-datacenter fault-tolerant networks and published FreeBSD-focused tooling and kernel improvements. An early community builder who once ran a 250-node neighbourhood network, he pairs deep protocol-level knowledge with a pragmatic operator’s mindset. Based in Hamburg, he signs his GitHub bio as "Директор Интернета," reflecting a playful confidence in his networking domain expertise.
