Top SchoolKara Fox is a Director of Software Engineering based in San Diego with nine years of progressive experience leading multicultural engineering teams at Fulcrum and a decade-plus background building user-focused web applications. She combines hands-on front-end expertise in Angular, React, and Vue with strong product and UX sensibilities developed earlier in roles as a product manager and UX designer, enabling her to bridge design, product, and engineering effectively. Kara has driven organizational shifts toward agile, product-driven development, mentoring engineers and instituting CI/CD practices across Azure and GitHub pipelines. Known for turning complex mapping and location-based interfaces into clean, task-focused experiences, she blends pragmatic technical leadership with a knack for improving cross-team communication and delivery.
