Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolKarel Valek is a versatile network and software engineer with a decade of experience across telecom and manufacturing environments, currently supporting automation, VoIP and DevOps/ServiceOps at AT&T. He blends hands-on systems deployment and server management with firmware and tooling work (Python, Bash, GitLab CI) gained at Prusa Research, and earlier PHP and TypeScript projects at IBM/Kyndryl. Comfortable spanning networking, SAN/storage, and embedded testing, he writes operational documentation and maintenance plans in addition to building automation. Though he keeps a low public footprint (prefers email contact and no longer hosts code on GitHub), his career shows steady movement between infrastructure, firmware, and applied software engineering.
