Top SchoolKarl Hepworth is a versatile 2D and 3D artist, illustrator, and graphic designer with over a decade of professional experience producing concept art, game and simulator assets, packaging, and print illustrations. He blends traditional illustration skills with digital toolchains (Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max) to deliver polished visuals for games, apps, simulators, and published books, and has a history of mentoring peers on craft. As a self-employed artist he has repeatedly delivered end-to-end projects—from character concepts and textured 3D models to UI mockups and print-ready layouts—for clients including Microsoft Game Studios and TruGolf. Beyond visual art, Karl contributes to open-source software projects, improving front-end UI and integrating backend features like cron task support in developer platforms, reflecting an uncommon mix of creative and technical problem-solving. Based in Bountiful, Utah, he is also a privacy-minded technophile who enjoys both hardware and software.
