👤
SeniorKarl Herrick is a Senior Software Developer with 13 years of experience designing and delivering web applications, developer tooling, and infrastructure automation across enterprise teams. Rooted in a lifelong curiosity about computing—from an Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 to early BBSes—he brings deep hands-on expertise in LAMP stacks, virtualization, CI/CD, feature toggling, and security-focused code reviews. At Rocket Innovation Studio and previously Quicken Loans he champions testing, continuous delivery, and automation while mentoring engineers and driving R&D into new technologies. He also has broad systems engineering experience—mail migrations, backup strategies, and cross-platform deployments—making him comfortable from server-level scripting to production web apps.
