Senior🎓
Top SchoolKaryd'ja Souza is a Senior Software Developer with 11 years of experience building web applications and APIs using Ruby on Rails, React.js, SQL and Agile workflows. She has delivered product-facing systems at fintech Magnetis—working on allocation and rebalance algorithms for a robo-advisor and implementing a goal-based investing algorithm in Rust—and now contributes to Housecall Pro. Her background spans full-stack work for socio-environmental projects presented at COP21 and early experience in enterprise and government systems, reflecting both product and data-focused domains. Comfortable in remote and cross-functional teams, she emphasizes code review, testing, and maintainable API design. Trained at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, she brings a pragmatic mix of academic grounding and hands-on algorithmic problem solving. A quietly versatile engineer, she moves easily between Ruby ecosystems and lower-level algorithm work when performance or correctness demands it.
