Top SchoolKatherine Bottenhorn is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Florida International University and a cognitive neuroscientist with nine years of research experience studying how environmental and endocrine factors drive heterogeneity in child and adolescent brain development. With a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and postdoctoral training at USC Keck, she combines neuroimaging, neuroinformatics, and developmental science to probe everyday contributors to brain network variability. Her work spans lab-based and large-scale data approaches, informed by earlier research on hypothalamic functional connectivity and molecular oncology exposure as an undergraduate. Based in Miami, she brings a rare blend of technical neuroinformatics skill and developmental endocrinology insight, positioning her to translate complex brain-behavior relationships into interventions for children and families.
