Kaung Htet
Senior Software Engineer, Transactions at Delivery Hero
Singapore
Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolKaung Htet is a senior software engineer based in Singapore with 11 years of experience building payment and wallet systems, consumer-facing platforms, and operational dashboards across Delivery Hero and earlier startups. A Pythonista at heart who now works primarily with Go, he blends backend systems thinking (MySQL, Redis, SQS/SNS, Temporal) with front-end and UX sensibilities from React/TypeScript work. He’s led small engineering teams, scoped product features, and shipped large-scale campaign and analytics tooling, while routinely contributing to payment integrations and transaction services in FinTech contexts. Deeply curious about programming language theory and functional paradigms, he experiments with OCaml, Haskell and Prolog in side projects—an indicator of his preference for elegant, correct solutions. Recently pivoting interest toward web3 and DeFi, he’s actively open to opportunities in decentralized finance where his protocol-aware mindset and production-grade engineering can intersect.
