Top SchoolKaushalya Samarasekera is a software engineering manager with over 18 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering mission-critical systems across payments, banking, insurance, energy, and ERP domains. He combines technical depth in Spring-based Java ecosystems, high-performance messaging, API-first design, and observability with a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams through architecture and delivery at Transpower and Verifone. A pragmatic solutions architect, he pairs infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation and cloud fundamentals with strong security knowledge (OAuth2/OpenID Connect and PKI) to build resilient, production-grade services. Kaushalya is a continual learner who applies data analytics and ML tooling occasionally to inform engineering decisions, and he stays current with cutting-edge tooling to choose the right fit rather than the trend. Colleagues describe him as a collaborative listener who elevates team outcomes by blending pattern-driven design with practical performance tuning.
