Top SchoolKean Chew is a founder-engineer with 11 years of cross-disciplinary experience building hardware-software products, leading SMEs’ IT operations, and shipping open-source tooling. A BEM-certified Mechatronics Engineer by training, he blends embedded systems expertise from Intel with startup instincts honed running ZORALab and Holloway, where he stewards multiple product licenses and maintains an AI image upscaler. He’s delivered rapid incident recoveries and supply-chain mitigations, managed multi-company IT divisions, and published research to open repositories, demonstrating both operational rigor and a public-facing commitment to open science. Kean’s current work on ZORALab’s Hestia consolidates portable, multilingual libraries for reuse across businesses, illustrating his focus on stability and redistribution-friendly infrastructure. Notably fast to learn and adapt, he also holds an active US B1 visa and combines practical engineering with policy and legal framework design for resilient product ecosystems.
