Top SchoolKelly Simer is a pragmatic software developer with 11 years of experience applying code to real-world problems, currently building software at Recharge after progressing from test engineering and release management roles. With a background that spans QA, front-end work for humanitarian projects, and systems testing at blockchain and climate-tech companies, Kelly brings a rigorous, hands-on approach to reliability and delivery. Trained in law and economics and later formalizing software studies at ASU, she combines analytical rigor with practical engineering instincts. Outside of software she pursues the physical layer of connectivity as an Amateur Extra radio operator (KK7QEA), designing antennas and documenting radio projects online, which underscores a curiosity for linking digital and physical systems. Based in Henderson, NV, she thrives on collaborative problem-solving in emergency response, community tech, and signal-chasing adventures with her dog.
