Top SchoolKentaro Takahashi is a Senior Software Engineer based in Madrid with roughly seven years of full‑stack experience building scalable e-commerce and FinTech systems. He has driven measurable impact across backend, frontend, and infrastructure—improving backend throughput by up to 70%, cutting billing ops costs by 60%, and reducing churn through database and caching optimizations. Kentaro is proficient with FastAPI, Rails, React/Next.js, Airflow and AWS, and has hands‑on experience implementing observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana to cut MTTR by 43%. He’s delivered high‑throughput queue systems and serverless cost savings while mentoring engineers on database performance and shipping CI/CD pipelines that accelerated release cadence threefold. Notably, he combines product-minded stakeholder management with low‑level reverse engineering techniques for complex ETL problems, showing a knack for unconventional technical problem solving. He holds a BSc and MSc from the University of Tsukuba and currently builds the future of POS systems at NCR Voyix.
