Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKersten Richter is a Senior Documentation Architect for RISC-V at The Linux Foundation with 12 years of software engineering experience and a long tenure at IBM. She combines deep technical writing and requirements-analysis skills with hands-on software development and Agile practices to translate complex systems into clear, usable documentation. Her background in Technical and Scientific Communication underpins a specialty in enterprise software docs and developer-facing content for open hardware ecosystems. Based in Minnesota, she brings a pragmatic engineering mindset to standards and community-facing projects, and—perhaps unexpectedly—applies storytelling craft from her work as a children's book author to make technical material more engaging.
