San Francisco Bay Area United States
Summary
👤
SeniorKevin Carwile is a senior software engineer with nine years of experience delivering enterprise web applications from concept through CI/CD-driven production. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he blends hands-on coding with engineering leadership—having managed delivery processes, sprint planning, and technical strategy as an Engineering Manager. His technical breadth spans backend APIs (Python/Flask, GraphQL), cloud infrastructure (AWS), PHP/WordPress platforms, hybrid mobile apps, and CI/CD tooling. At Miller Media he both led architecture decisions and rolled up his sleeves to implement frameworks and cloud workflows; today he contributes at scale from his role at Klaviyo. A practiced mentor and team player, he’s as comfortable documenting internal frameworks as he is shipping customer-facing features. Off the clock he describes himself playfully as part of a “tribe of little red bull,” hinting at a bold, energetic approach to problem solving.
