Senior🎓
Top SchoolKevin Cheng is a senior iOS engineer with over a decade in software and more than six years building production iOS apps and frameworks, now contributing at WhatsApp after leadership roles at Instagram and WeWork. A Swift enthusiast since version 1 and a Medium writer, he combines deep expertise in mobile design patterns and system architecture with hands-on implementation of animations, Core Bluetooth integrations, and cross-platform product features. He has led teams to ship high-scale media products like Instagram Reels and built modular frameworks and CocoaPods distributions for partner ecosystems. Comfortable across the stack, his background spans native mobile, backend APIs, and .NET web systems—an uncommon breadth that helps him bridge product, design, and engineering. Known for a pragmatic, can-do approach, he also has experience localizing apps into multiple languages and integrating wearable and external device workflows.
