Top SchoolKevin Day is an experienced technology founder and executive chairman with 17+ years building productivity software for professional services, notably founding and scaling Trumpet Inc. to deliver document management, OCR, bulk scanning and automated filing solutions for legal and financial firms. He blends hands-on engineering instincts (grounded in a mechanical engineering education from Georgia Tech and UF) with a practical obsession for reducing friction, automating dull work, and raising the bar on customer experience. Kevin’s leadership emphasizes process improvement, empathy, and the freedom to evolve roles—a culture he intentionally built after early-career constraints. He’s as comfortable shipping technical integrations as he is steering company strategy, and takes pride in creating tools that make people “trumpet” about their work.
