Senior🎓
Top SchoolKevin Firko is a senior software engineer and founder with over a decade of building web and mobile products through his independent studio and leadership roles at companies like VTS and Wizmo. He combines hands-on full‑stack development (React, Node.js, TypeScript, PHP/LAMP, Python) with product and technical project management, regularly wearing developer, PM, and systems-administration hats. Experienced in APIs (REST/GraphQL), diverse databases, DevOps on AWS/DigitalOcean, and accessibility and internationalization, he bridges design and engineering—often leading UI/UX work in Sketch and automating business workflows with VBA/C#. Kevin’s consulting background means he’s practiced at requirements analysis, systems integration, and guiding cross‑disciplinary teams from concept to production. Based in Old Toronto with a B.Sc. in Computer Science, he runs Bitcurve Systems to deliver custom, integration-heavy solutions and still finds time to iterate on tooling and processes that accelerate delivery. A pragmatic problem-solver, he often surfaces operational improvements that shave weeks off typical project timelines.
