Top SchoolKevin Hernández-rostrán is a creative software engineer with 11 years of experience blending full‑stack development, data engineering, and cloud solutions, now building at Microsoft. He teaches across universities in Costa Rica, translating complex topics—APIs, AWS, data science, and computational thinking—into practical coursework while mentoring the next generation of engineers. Kevin pairs pragmatic engineering (Go, .NET, Python, AWS, Terraform) with design sensibilities from his graphic design work and experiments in Three.js and 3D animation, treating code as an act of craftsmanship. His background includes automating ETL and serverless processes, shipping production-ready APIs and PWAs, and improving data workflows on Azure and AWS. Grounded in his faith, he brings a purpose-driven approach to elegant, maintainable solutions and a knack for making technical systems both useful and beautiful.
