Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKevin Leong is a versatile software engineer with 13 years of experience building mobile (iOS/Android) and full-stack web systems, primarily in Ruby on Rails and Java/Spring. Based in San Francisco, he shipped customer-facing SDKs and APIs at Square, architected external APIs and eCommerce services, and drove production fixes that eliminated thousands of undeliverable hardware requests and a $120K refund issue. He has a strong track record in cross-platform backend services, shipping integrations with fulfillment and SSO systems, and mentoring/onboarding new engineers. Earlier roles at Zappos, Threadflip and Amazon show a knack for automation, complex integrations (shipping label generation, Oracle messaging), and performance-focused tooling. Kevin pairs product-minded engineering with deep operational troubleshooting, often owning subtle edge cases across legacy and modern systems.
