Top SchoolKevin Mcdonald is a strategic technology leader, founder, and CEO with nearly two decades of experience aligning cloud, data, and emerging technologies to drive measurable business outcomes. He has led enterprise professional services at AWS and DataStax, built and scaled consulting practices, and now runs multiple ventures—including a VC-style firm focused on patient capital and a Layer-1 blockchain validator—bridging operator experience with investment discipline. Kevin combines hands-on technical delivery (Java, microservices, Kubernetes, data platforms) with executive-level program and financial management honed in both the Air Force and Fortune-scale engagements. He is skilled at turning complex transformation initiatives into repeatable services and products that improve revenue, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-value. Based in the Florida Panhandle, he pairs an MBA from UCLA Anderson with systems engineering roots from the Air Force Academy, offering a rare mix of operational rigor and market-facing innovation. A detail that often surprises peers: he has operationalized both mission-critical government space programs and bleeding-edge blockchain infrastructure, demonstrating adaptability across highly regulated and nascent technology domains.
