Top SchoolKevin Mui is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building cloud-native, full‑stack systems using Java, Kubernetes, React, and TypeScript across finance and research environments. He has advanced real‑time and scalable features at CME Group and Capital One, and designed high‑throughput behavioral experiments and multiplayer game studies at UW‑Madison that collected millions of data points for academic publications. Known for mentorship and team building, he blends pragmatic engineering with UX-forward thinking—from implementing generative-AI auto-suggestions to optimizing enterprise Java systems. Kevin has a track record of shipping measurable product improvements (e.g., 25% responsiveness gains and 70% page-load reductions) and iterating with customer feedback to double positive ratings. Based in Chicago, he pairs rigorous Computer Engineering training with a curiosity for data-driven research and interactive applications. Notably, his part‑time research and startup work demonstrates an ability to move between production systems and experimental prototypes without losing focus on scale or reliability.
