Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolKevin Mulcrone is a pragmatic engineering leader and founder with 11 years of experience building financial and education platforms, currently serving as VP of Engineering at Onramp in Denver. He blends hands-on product engineering with startup grit—founding and exiting Lily Technologies, a Bitcoin multisig vault startup acquired by Onramp, and earlier launching niche marketplaces. His technical focus has repeatedly centered on financial infrastructure and Bitcoin interoperability, including work on Lightning Network submarine swaps and secure custody solutions. Kevin moves comfortably between shipping production systems at scale and bootstrapping new ventures, with a track record of turning cryptographic and payments complexity into practical products. He mentors teams to deliver reliable, secure systems while keeping product velocity high. His dual background in computer science and philosophy-politics hints at a thoughtful, systems-level approach to technical and product tradeoffs.
