Senior🎓
Top SchoolKevin Purnelle is a Staff Fullstack Engineer and frontend architect with 13+ years building production web apps and 5 years focused on web3 and DeFi, currently based in Budapest. He excels at shipping end-to-end products in small agile teams, owning design-to-deployment workstreams from polished React frontends (web, PWA, Electron) to reliable Node.js/Bun backends. His work has driven real traction—helping DeFi products reach multi-billion TVL and engineering a real-time trading game that scaled to millions of visitors at low cost. He mentors teams on UI/UX systems and frontend scalability, and has led full rebrands and product visions while cutting operational costs. Multilingual (English, French, Spanish) and comfortable in remote, multicultural setups, he’s recently amplified productivity by integrating AI code assistants into his workflow. A pragmatic craftsman, he blends a designer’s eye with deep implementation skills across TypeScript, MobX, web3 libraries and no-SQL databases.
