Top SchoolKevin Smith is a Senior Chromium Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building performant browser features and full‑stack web systems, currently working on Brave’s private ad and rewards ecosystem in C++ and React. He brings deep expertise in programming languages and compilers from his time as Microsoft’s TC39 representative and co-editor of the ECMAScript spec, and has improved core Observable semantics in a widely watched TC39 proposal. Kevin has led architecture and engineering efforts across media and healthcare platforms, shipping secure single‑page apps, authentication systems, and large-scale SQL Server operations. Comfortable across low‑level VM work and user-facing UI, he blends systems thinking with pragmatic product focus. Based in Athens, Georgia, he pairs a rare combination of language design experience and hands‑on browser engineering that improves both correctness and real-world performance.
