Senior🎓
Top SchoolKevin Van Den Abeele is a freelance IT consultant based in Antwerp with 12 years of experience building full-stack web applications, SPAs and IoT-inspired smart technology solutions. He has moved between hands-on software engineering and competence leadership roles, most recently founding Promethian IT Consulting after leading Smart Tech and IoT practice areas at Ordina Belgium. Comfortable across Java backends and modern web stacks, he combines practical implementation experience from enterprise projects with a knack for translating emerging connected-device concepts into production-ready services. Colleagues know him for bridging consultancy and technical leadership—shaping teams and architectures while still shipping code. An early robotics internship and sustained focus on smart technologies hint at a persistent curiosity for embedding intelligence at the edge, not just in the cloud.
