Top SchoolKimball Johnson is a Senior Product Marketing Manager and former Developer Advocate with 12 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, and developer enablement, now based in London. He combines deep technical skills—building Chef cookbooks, Packer templates, CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based virtual labs—with a proven track record of translating those capabilities into product-led growth through content, training and on-site demos. Across roles at Chef, Kong, Appsembler and enterprise retailers, he’s bridged engineering, management and practitioners to drive adoption, mentor teams and launch training platforms on fixed deadlines. Notably, he pairs systems automation expertise with embedded programming and event management experience from work outside employment, giving him a pragmatic, customer-focused perspective on product positioning.
