Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolKimmo Salin is a hands-on laboratory engineer with around a decade of practical experience, currently building prototypes for hydrogen and microalgae projects at JAMK University of Applied Sciences while completing dual engineering studies in mechanical/production and energy/environment technology. He combines mechanical design, sensor integration and prototype construction with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset and strong self-direction, preferring small expert teams with low hierarchy. His background includes HVAC/R refrigeration skills and years of logistics and temperature-controlled transport, which inform his practical approach to production optimization and lab systems. Motivated by building, testing and iterating real-world solutions, he seeks R&D, prototyping and production development roles where technical problem solving and hands-on craft intersect. An unspoken strength is his ability to bridge lab research needs and production realities—turning experimental setups into robust, testable systems.
