Top SchoolKiran Karnad is a mortgage and real estate investment principal with over 25 years of experience helping Bay Area clients with trust deed investments, in-house underwriting, bank loans, property management, and refinancing. Based in Oakland, he built and led regional mortgage operations across major U.S. markets earlier in his career, bringing both local market insight and national operations experience. Known for a hands-on approach, he combines deal structuring and origination expertise with a practical knack for operations and client servicing. His background in economics underpins a data-minded view of property finance and investment risk. Though he keeps a low public tech profile, a self-described tinkerer on GitHub suggests a curiosity for hacking solutions and automations that likely informs his process improvements. Clients and partners value his long tenure and deep institutional knowledge of mortgage workflows in competitive coastal markets.
