Top SchoolKiran Venkadesh is a CTO and co-founder pioneering AI for radiology with 11 years of experience translating medical imaging research into validated clinical algorithms. Based in Nijmegen, he blends academic rigor—from a PhD developing lung cancer screening AI—with product and engineering leadership at startups and hospitals, including roles at Predible Health and Radboudumc. He has led end-to-end development, validation, and deployment of deep learning systems for CT and X-ray across chest, abdomen, and fracture detection, and now scales those capabilities at Plain Medical. Known for bridging research and regulated clinical practice, he pairs an IIT Madras dual engineering degree with hands-on algorithm design, bringing uncommon fluency in both research experiments and production validation.
