Senior🎓
Top SchoolKirill Orlov is a fintech-focused lead developer and team lead with over a decade of hands-on experience building secure, compliant payment systems and back-end architectures. He combines technical leadership with substantial coding time, having designed QR and EMV/ISO8583 payment services, an Android tablet POS app in Kotlin, Remote Key Loading infrastructure, and tools that improved QA and reconciliation workflows. Kirill has driven PCI DSS and EMV certification efforts, enabling product launches used across thousands of devices in the UK and Europe, and brings deep practical knowledge of payment protocols and cryptographic key management. His background spans core banking, ATM/POS simulators and integrations, and bespoke financial platforms, reflecting an uncommon mix of low-level payments expertise and modern Kotlin/GRPC backend development. Based in Birmingham, he’s also a maker at heart—an avid geek who enjoys machining and 3D printing alongside software.
