Top SchoolKody Thach is a full-stack software engineer based in New York with a decade of professional experience and 5+ years focused on building production-grade web applications across cybersecurity, marketing, and financial domains. He ships end-to-end solutions—React/TypeScript frontends, Django/Python backends, and microservices on Kubernetes—having modernized support portals, decoupled ETL pipelines, and redesigned data visualization interfaces at companies like Klaviyo, IBM, and BlueVoyant. Kody pairs strong UI instincts (Figma-driven redesigns) with backend rigor, writing unit-to-end-to-end tests and maintaining secure package compliance in regulated environments. He’s comfortable automating cloud deployments (AWS, Jenkins, CloudFormation) and has reduced developer toil through Python automation and CI/CD pipelines. Notably, he has experience migrating monolith ETL workloads into EKS-hosted microservices to improve performance and availability for high-traffic help centers. He combines practical product empathy with an engineer’s attention to operational reliability and code quality.
