Konstantin Vinogradov is a venture investor and operator focused on early-stage open source, AI, and infrastructure software, blending hands-on product work with deal-making from London. As a General Partner at Runa Capital he led nine investments in OSS/AI/infra winners—several of which were acquired—and built the fund’s internal AI-driven data platform to automate sourcing, diligence, and portfolio support. He co-founded and chairs the Open Source Endowment, the world’s first community-led endowment dedicated to sustaining critical OSS, reflecting a rare long-term commitment to open ecosystems. A Kauffman Fellow (Class 30) and advisor to venture firms and startups, he actively supports companies from pre-seed through exit while maintaining practical engineering sensibilities. Trained in applied math, physics, and innovation management at MIPT, he combines rigorous analytical instincts with product intuition. Less obvious: he publishes and maintains the ROSS Index, a quarterly tracker of the fastest-growing OSS startups that informs his thesis and sourcing.
