Senior🎓
Top SchoolKostas Stamatiou is a lead engineer and co-founder with over a decade of experience turning research-grade machine learning into production computer vision and geospatial products. He has led teams at DigitalGlobe to scale satellite imagery AI and later co-founded startups tackling emissions analytics and next-generation GPS for mobile devices. As an independent consultant he builds end-to-end solutions—from problem framing and crowdsourced training data to model design and deployment—across medical imaging, industrial automation and consumer photography. His background in wireless communications and energy-efficient protocols informs pragmatic system design for edge and sensor-constrained environments. Notably, he blends academic rigor (PhD in Electrical Engineering) with fieldwork experience, including remote-sensing expeditions that supported a National Geographic documentary. Based in Boulder, he helps clients apply AI to messy, real-world datasets where automation yields measurable impact.
