Top SchoolKostiantyn Stepakh is a frontend developer with over seven years of experience building performant, user-focused web applications across fintech, blockchain, e-commerce, and privacy-first AI startups. He has shipped production UIs that integrate complex backends and smart contracts, built custodial and dashboard tooling for institutional crypto users, and led frontend work for NFT and DEX-like products. Most recently he focused on local-first AI at Sanctum—implementing encrypted document workflows, offline Whisper transcription, and Hugging Face model integration—to deliver privacy-preserving, fully offline experiences. Comfortable across React/Next.js and BFF patterns, he routinely optimizes frontend–backend interactions for real-time playback, search, and large-document handling. Based in the Greater Seattle area, he pairs a practical engineering mindset with a background spanning economics, theology, and even automotive studies, which informs a pragmatic, user-centric approach to product design. Colleagues rely on him to translate complex protocols and ML capabilities into intuitive, secure interfaces that work reliably offline and at scale.
