Top SchoolKristie Howard is a product-minded engineering leader with 11 years of experience building full‑stack and AI-driven products, currently leading a team at Figma to deliver cutting-edge designer-facing AI experiences. She has scaled teams from founding hires to directors, running cross-functional efforts including security, compliance (SOC 2), and product launches at fast-paced startups like Tango and Anchorage. A hands-on manager who still ships code, Kristie combines strong front-end expertise (React, TypeScript, GraphQL) with backend and release ownership, and has a track record of shipping Chrome extensions, desktop apps, and API integrations. Colleagues describe her as an enthusiastic team player who creates clear processes, hires thoughtfully, and celebrates wins—she even moonlighted as product manager and built Tango into a Product Hunt favorite. Based in San Francisco, she pairs technical craftsmanship with operational rigor to turn ambiguous problems into elegant, auditable solutions.
