Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolKunalan Ratharanjan is a DevOps System Admin and software engineer with a decade of experience building web and system solutions, currently supporting Indiana University’s faculty, advisors, and students. He blends front-end and back-end expertise—having modernized UIs to the Rivet framework, sped up CI by converting integration tests to mocked unit tests, and built admin dashboards and kiosk/security code features for campus apps. His background spans research programming, LAMP-based CMS work, and automation scripting with Python and Selenium, reflecting a strong practical grounding from database to UI. With an MS in Data Science and roots in Sri Lankan computer science education, he brings both academic rigor and hands-on product delivery to operational and development challenges. Less obvious: he deliberately optimizes developer workflows (build speed and test design) as much as user-facing features, making him effective at improving both velocity and reliability.
