Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolKurtis Jones is a pragmatic software developer with 13 years of experience crafting user-focused web applications and backend services, currently building UI-driven solutions at Willis Towers Watson. He blends front-end craftsmanship with deep backend skills—C#, Java, SQL Server, APIs and Azure—shaped by long-term projects that emphasized configurable workflow platforms and maintainable frameworks. Kurtis treats development as an artisan craft, prioritizing intuitive interfaces and efficient server-side processes while mentoring teammates and troubleshooting multithreaded systems. He is intellectually curious, studying functional languages (F#, Haskell), cryptography, OS design and abstract mathematics in his spare time, which informs cleaner, more principled code. Based in Kaysville, Utah, he brings decades of institutional knowledge from large enterprise products and a practical knack for turning configuration-driven requirements into robust, extensible software.
