Top SchoolKyle Tolle is a staff software engineer with 14 years of experience and a decade focused on building RESTful Ruby on Rails apps and video platforms. At BombBomb he’s the primary video engineer, designing autoscaling pipelines and FFmpeg-based encoding-while-recording solutions that power recording, trimming, splicing, thumbnails, and transcriptions across web, mobile, and integrations. He’s skilled at consolidating services, reducing technical debt, and expanding platform value through integrations like webhooks and APIs. After a sabbatical to write and publish a fantasy novel, he’s seeking a remote role where he can continue iterating on design and tooling to deliver reliable, high-performance media experiences.
