Top SchoolKyungkun Ko is a Network and Online Software Engineer with 11 years of professional experience building multiplayer game systems and engines, currently working on online infrastructure at 31st Union in Irvine. He combines deep low-level engine knowledge (C++, C#, Gamebryo, Unreal Engine) with practical server and networking expertise gained across AAA titles like NBA2K and WWE and at Obsidian. Kyungkun has led and trained engineering teams from early mobile 3D engines to modern MORPG and relay-enabled P2P systems, routinely owning both client and server components and performance/memory optimization. He continues to develop open-source projects—a work-in-progress game engine and game server on GitHub—demonstrating an ongoing commitment to tooling the games ecosystem. Fluent in the long arc of game tech, he pairs a physics and computer graphics academic background with hands-on production experience stretching back to the first phone 3D engines in Korea. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic leadership on networking, latency mitigation, and scalable multiplayer architecture.
