Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolLarry Tsai is a seasoned embedded software engineer based in Taipei with seven years of focused experience building firmware and platform software for set-top boxes, gateways, and IoT devices. He has deep board-support-package and kernel expertise from roles at Flextronics and Oregan Networks, covering bootloaders, Linux/Android kernels, multimedia DRM and connectivity stacks. At Nordic Semiconductor he contributed to the nRF Connect SDK, adding iCalendar parsing and an MQTT client to a serial LTE modem—demonstrating both protocol-level design and practical AT-command integration. His background combines hands-on driver bring-up (LCD, touch, sensors, Wi‑Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth) with manufacturing and certification test automation, making him effective across product development lifecycles. Comfortable working close to silicon and cloud endpoints, he brings an engineer’s discipline to reliability and feature-driven improvements. Colleagues appreciate that he pairs system-level thinking with pragmatic code contributions that directly impact product shipping.
