Senior🎓
Top SchoolLaszlo Katai-pal is a Cloud Engineer based in Berlin with 9 years of hands-on experience building and automating data platforms and cloud infrastructure, primarily on Azure. He has progressed from analytics and reporting roles into senior data engineering and cloud positions, implementing Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines across large enterprises like ExxonMobil and The Adecco Group. Known for bridging data warehouse architecture and cloud-native tooling, he has led small teams, introduced automated partitioning and data quality monitoring, and delivered ETL and AIOps integrations at scale. His background in finance and long tenure in MS SQL/SSIS-based ecosystems gives him a pragmatic, performance-focused approach to data engineering and migration to modern analytics stacks. Less obvious: he combines deep legacy DWH expertise with current infrastructure-as-code practices, enabling reliable, auditable migrations for mission-critical systems.
