Top SchoolLaurence Kirchmeier is a senior software engineer and project manager with over two decades of experience designing and delivering production mobile and web applications, currently building systems for the Michigan Education Association. He blends user-centered UI/UX design with pragmatic engineering, having led e-commerce, instructional, and medical app projects using Agile/Scrum across Drupal, Laravel, Django, Magento, Node.js and native iOS/Android stacks. Laurence has steered cross-functional teams from concept to release—running technical leadership for Magento platforms, mobile point-of-sale integrations, and enterprise mobile strategies for the University of Michigan Medical School. His background in digital video, network performance and live streaming informs a systems-minded approach to real-time and multimedia features that many app teams overlook. Based in Ann Arbor, he pairs hands-on development with clear stakeholder communication and a long track record of turning complex institutional needs into usable, supported products.
