Top SchoolLea Fairbanks is an experienced full-stack engineer and engineering manager with 12+ years building scalable web applications and platforms, currently leading developer experience and platform efforts at MasterControl. As founder of Valkoria Software and owner of LeafLab, she has shipped bespoke, production-grade systems—most notably SigningOrder, which processes thousands of mortgage signings monthly and serves tens of thousands of users. Lea blends hands-on LAMP and Java/Angular development with DevEx, DevSecOps, and platform engineering, having optimized CI/CD, introduced ARM64 builds, and slashed PR cycle times dramatically. She thrives mentoring cross-functional teams and converting freelance grit into repeatable engineering practices, while staying engaged in robotics education and field sports — a detail that signals practical leadership and a hands-on, problem-solving temperament.
