Top SchoolLei Huang is a Singapore-based graphic designer and illustrator with 13 years of creative experience blending editorial design, brand communications, and playful illustration under the moniker Paperlileis. Currently designing for Crowne Plaza Changi Airport and freelancing on zines, prints, and commissions, she brings a versatile visual voice that adapts across print, web, and experiential touchpoints. Her background in leading an in-house magazine taught her to translate complex content into engaging layouts and infographics while coordinating illustrators and developers. Past projects span book illustration for the LKY Bilingualism Fund, curated product and event branding, and shortlisted designs for consumer competitions—evidence of both craft and commercial sensibility. Comfortable switching between collaborative studio roles and independent art markets, she pairs disciplined process with a curiosity-driven practice that often surfaces in whimsical, detail-rich character work.
