Top SchoolLeon Truong is a Full Stack AI Engineer with 11 years of experience building and productionising machine learning systems, currently focusing on image analysis and deploying large language models. He has led ML initiatives across startups and enterprises—from co-founding a medtech AI startup that built an award-winning malaria diagnostic to driving ML Centre of Excellence and forecasting, anomaly detection, and computer vision projects at Transurban. Comfortable across the full stack, Leon blends hands-on model engineering with production deployment and MLOps practices, and he’s shipped LLM-powered solutions in commercial environments. A Rust enthusiast and lifelong learner with robotics and reinforcement learning coursework from Udacity, he often explores low-level optimisations to squeeze extra performance from ML pipelines. Based in Melbourne, he pairs product-minded delivery with cross-functional collaboration, regularly translating research-grade models into scalable, real-world services.
