Top SchoolLeonardo Galindo-frias is a software engineering team lead based in New York with nine years of experience building infrastructure and backend systems across finance, ad tech, and consumer AR. He currently leads developer infrastructure at Nominal after architecting bare-metal lifecycle and cloud-native compute services at Bloomberg. A deliberate generalist with a Computer Science and Linguistics background from UIUC, he pairs systems-level curiosity with product-minded implementation—able to move between low-level infrastructure and full-stack deliverables. His career includes fast-paced stints at Meta and Snap where he worked on A/B testing and AR expansion, and a DoD-backed externship building an LMS MVP, underscoring both rapid prototyping chops and domain diversity. Notably, he publicly documents his systems thinking at leofrias.com, signaling an emphasis on continuous learning and developer tooling.
