Summary
👤
SeniorLogan Rakai is a Technical Director with 11 years of experience specializing in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), DevOps, and the design and delivery of hands-on labs and cloud training content. He combines deep systems and algorithmic expertise from a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with practical software engineering across C#, .NET, Python, C/C++, and JavaScript to build scalable, secure lab environments and infrastructure-as-code for hundreds of deployments. At Cloud Academy he scaled lab production dramatically, earned multiple internal innovation and MVP awards, and now leads lab strategy and content development. His background in high-performance numerical libraries, parallel algorithms and optimization gives him a rare ability to optimize both code and cloud architecture for performance and cost. Based in Calgary, he bridges academic research and product engineering to turn complex cloud and distributed systems problems into teachable, production-ready solutions.
