Luba Tang is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with 15 years of experience bridging compiler research and system-level design, currently leading Skymizer’s technical strategy. He earned an accelerated M.S. in computer science from National Tsing-Hua University and has been a Ph.D. candidate there since 2007, combining deep academic expertise with industry impact. Luba has architected production compiler and linker tools—leading Marvell’s iterative compiler, writing the Marvell iterative compiler, and architecting MCLinker at MediaTek—then founded Skymizer to commercialize his work. His recent focus on AI compilers, synthesizers, and deep-learning accelerators reflects a shift from ESL simulation to hardware-aware ML tooling. Based in Hsinchu, Taiwan, he mixes hands-on coding and systems architecture with entrepreneurial experience as a long-time founder and CTO.
