Senior🎓
Top SchoolLucas Bais is a Senior Software Engineering Manager with 10 years of experience building and leading mobile teams, currently scaling engineering at Bitso after progressing from Android Developer to senior management. Deeply rooted in Android for the past six years, he pairs hands-on expertise in Kotlin and Java with broad fluency across Python, C/C++, and JavaScript, and a background in embedded/telecommunications early in his career. He’s a practitioner of clean code and continuous learning—both a self-taught mentor and former university Python instructor—who champions pragmatic engineering principles inspired by classics like Clean Code and Effective Java. Comfortable shipping consumer-facing apps at scale (OLX, Mercado Libre, Ring) and transitioning into leadership, he blends product-minded technical depth with people development. An Argentina-based engineer with a hardware-to-cloud perspective, he brings rare cross-domain empathy that helps bridge platform constraints and team delivery.
